Authenticated accounts, diagnostics, reports, Portable sessions, billing, support and customer-facing Cindy features on northwatchtech.net are covered by the service privacy policy.

Information we handle

When you browse, our systems may process ordinary request and security information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested and referring pages, date and time, errors and security events. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, inquiry subject and message you submit. Do not include passwords, private keys, payment-card numbers, medical information or other sensitive information.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the website; display products and services; respond to inquiries; provide requested sales or product information; diagnose faults; prevent spam, fraud, abuse and security incidents; maintain business records; and meet contractual or legal obligations.

Northwatch does not sell or rent personal information and does not use website information for third-party behavioral advertising or unrelated profiling.

Cindy on the public website

When Cindy is available here, she will serve as Northwatch's AI-assisted digital sales guide. A request may include the message you submit, the public page or product you are viewing, product and service information, and bounded conversation context needed to answer you. Northwatch-controlled services will send only the content reasonably necessary for the response. The browser will not receive an AI provider credential.

Cindy may be wrong or incomplete. Her responses are informational and do not independently create a contract, approve an order, make a warranty, authorize diagnostic work or change a customer system. Final product terms, prices, availability and commitments are those Northwatch confirms through the applicable order or agreement.

Messages, relevant context, provider inputs and outputs, and operational records may be processed and retained as needed to provide the conversation, protect and troubleshoot the service, respond to an inquiry, preserve an authorized business record, and meet contractual or legal obligations. Northwatch will not permit providers to use these conversations to train generally available models unless the user or customer expressly authorizes it.

If Cindy is later connected to an authenticated account or given materially broader access, the interface will identify the applicable service and privacy terms before that expanded processing occurs.

Service providers and disclosures

Northwatch may disclose information only to providers operating on our behalf, such as hosting, infrastructure, email, security and AI providers; when you direct it; to protect people, rights, property or systems; as part of a protected business transaction; or when required by law or valid legal process. Providers are expected to process information only to deliver the contracted service.

Cookies and browser storage

The public website may use cookies or local browser storage needed for security, session continuity, preferences and site operation. We do not use it for third-party behavioral advertising.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, provide requested information, operate and secure the website, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, and meet obligations. The current version will be posted here with its effective date. If a change materially expands how existing information is used or disclosed, Northwatch will provide notice and seek consent when appropriate. We will not rely on a quiet policy change to retroactively authorize a materially different use.
